Last week I got my package from Heinz containing my Classico Light Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce. Immediatly I start thinking what am I going to cook with it? I dont want to do the normal Fettuccine Alfredo, but that was seriously all I could think of!
...I cant let Heinz down! Nor Foodbuzz!! And my readers!!! ...but sometimes I'm just so not creative..
Then it hit me! I'll make a casserole with my left over egg noodles and some chicken. Sounds good right?
Wrong turns out Im just too lazy to defrost the chicken and prepare this long meal, so I changed it to tuna cassarole, which ended up being tuna pasta.
Less preparation, less dirty dishes= a very happy me! (really, who likes cleaning the dishes after cooking?)
So lets get cooking!
Boil your noodles and set aside.
Next cut your broccoli. (maybe add some peas too!)
Drain the tuna and mix everything in a sauce pot.
Top your noodles with your tasty sauce and dig in!
This meal was fantastic! Plus my mom is always telling me I should post healthier meals on here (possibly 'cause I always complain that I'm a fatty) But this kinda happened on accident! Classico Light Creamy Alfredo Pasta sauce has 50% less fat and 45% fewer calories then all the other Alfredo sauces. Its just 60 calories per serving, no need to skimp on the sauce for your noodles. Enjoy!
This post is part of a Foodbuzz Tastemaker program with Classico Light Creamy Alfredo Pasta Sauce. I was not financially compensated for this post. I received a sample for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.

What a great idea to use tuna instead of chicken! Hope the cook in my house tries this the next time he cooks with Alfredo sauce...he has used it on chicken and sausage, but not tuna. And we always have tuna in the pantry.
