day 6: make spiced apple cider!

We've watched classic Christmas movies, worked on our Christmas puzzle, and drank cocoa. Basically enjoying this holiday season, and our 12 Dates. For Day 6 it was make spiced apple cider and watch a Christmas movie.

I've never made cider, nor have a tried it I'm always the hot cocoa girl, but this drink was so amazing it is definitely going on the Sam & Daniel Xmas Tradition. And I know I always say this, but it was crazy easy to make. You need: a bottle of sparkling cider, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, and a cinnamon stick. Pour it all in a pot and heat up.

This is a terrible picture, and we ended up switching it to a mug 'cause it was just too hot! Also dont keep the cinnamon stick in the drink it self. You can just toss after you pour all the liquid in the cups. Also, I recommend straining the spices, we just swirled it when it go to the bottom so we werent drinking straight spices!!

Best drink in the world. Make it tonight and everyone will be happy.
