hello summer.

Tuesday was such an amazing day. Not just because I got the job, but I also just woke up in a great mood. And so because it was so good, I totally caved, and turned my oven on to make the Triple Galette from my Fave Friday post. And let me tell you it was worth all the sweating, cause the only thing that makes summer bearable is all the amazing fruit!

So 730p comes and I decided I'm going to make this Galette. I made the crust, which was a definite first for me. I'm one of those lazy bakers who like to buy the crust, and just make the good insides! shh..dont tell!!

Wrapped it, and put it in the fridge to chill. I then ran to the store to buy all the berries.

An hour later I  mixed all the berries

Rolled out the dough. And piled all the berries in the middle.

Folded the dough over, brushed with egg wash, and set to bake.
Tra-la! Magnifique!

I also made the whipped cream.
I followed all of instructions, probably added more blueberries 'cause they're my favorite, and I added no sugar to the berries.

We also found that sprinkling a slice with powdered sugar is way better than the whipped cream.
Just Amazing.
