challah.

Lets go back 2 months...

It was a week from Easter and I came across this recipe for challah bread. I was very excited to bake it, especially 'cause it was days before Daniels recital and his aunt and uncle, who are Jewish, were coming. But right at that moment my roommate told me that, sadly, Jews dont eat challah for Easter... So I forgot all about the challah, until I was watching Sex and the City yesterday morning (s.6 ep.4) when Charlotte yells "Ok, the koogle's in the oven, the matzah balls are boiling, it's 3 hours 'til Shabbat, I think we should start braiding the Challah!!"

I immediately started baking. I figure it was just for the two of us, who aren't Jewish, so it'll be ok. And it was..so delicious!

It was tough to braid at the beginning (the bottom of the challah), but it got easier. It looked so good, smelled great, and tasted amazing!
