basketball, and tortillas, and fish tacos, oh my!

We went the the Clippers vs. Celtics game last night from Daniels birthday! We sat literally in the last row possible, but you could still see everything great, and we had a blast, even though I was surrounded by Celtic fans. Good thing the Celtics won, which had Daniel extremely good mood me not so much, walking back in my Paul tshirt....
First professional sports game for me. Been to a ton of college games, which have a lot more energy. Although that couldve been 'cause I sit right by the court. Nevertheless, my throat hurts from all the screaming.

Ok, food time!
Today is fish tacos and home-made tortillas! YUM! And my grandma makes the most bomb home-made tortillas ever, so of course we wanted them for our fish tacos. Who needs the premade tortillas from the store?? We do actually, tortillas are a staple in my house! But, not tonight!
Sadly, this is another meal that I didnt make, 'cause I couldnt knead the tortillas with one hand. But the lovely girl that is Daniels sister made everything! Which apparently was a huge accomplishment, so it was a great night all around! And it was great just sitting there supervising. A girl could get use to that!
The tortillas, of course tasted amazing! And the fish tacos are always good, which funny story, came by accident when I made the wrong sauce for the fam. But it was a happy accident 'cause it turned out to be one of the most amazing, fattening, sauce we've ever made.
And my finger. Healing up nicely! I dont have to wear a band-aid any more, and I can type again! Which is great, 'cause I have to take a writing test again this week!
Tortillas
by Grandma
Ingredients
-6 cups of flour
-2 tbsp of baking powder
-1/2 tsp of baking soda
-1 tsp of salt
-1 cup crisco
-1 1/2 cup of hot water Im almost positive we used a whole lot more of water, 'cause the dough was not holding together.

Put the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and mix. Add hot water and continue mixing until soft dough forms, knead for about 3 min, add more water if needed!
Roll dough into small balls, sprinkle flour onto counter and roll out into a flat disk.
To cook, heat up a tortilla grill pan, skillet, whatever you prefer, once heated toss a tortilla on it. Wait a few seconds and flip with a fork or spatula, I like to use a fork. When finished put the tortilla into a bowl with a damp towel covering the top.
Repeat until all tortillas, around 36, are completed!

Fish Tacos Sauce
Ingredients:
-Mayonaisse
-Sour Cream
-Cilantro
-Limes
-Shredded Lettuce if you want, we usually skip this part.

You pretty much mix it all up in a bowl to your taste. Then sprinkle it over your tacos. And dip your tortillas in it...oh so good!
