We've packed, drove 4 hours, had a panic attack on the hill, got stuck in traffic, unpacked, applied to 100+ jobs, taken and printed headshots, oh and did I mention finally settled in LA!
Its strange to finally be a California Resident. I've been dreaming of doing this for years and I just cant believe that we actually made the move! Although, it's been a month, and it still doesnt feel like home. I wake up and go about my day feeling like I'm in a hotel or something. It's odd. But I've decorated (the best I could with a rented place) baked (a Delicious chocolate cake), and bought an ice cream maker and made strawberry sorbet. So its feeling like home more and more.
The acting thing is happening little by little. I got my website up and running: www.samanthasifuentes.com, got new headshots, got my agency book, and am back in touch with an ex-professor. Its little steps, but slow and steady wins the race! I'm not worried. I think about it everyday, and keep in contact with fellow actors new and old to LA and I know it'll all work out.
So thats my life in a nut shell at the moment. I promise to write more often!
