It seems like I'm experiencing the chef's version of writers block. But at the end of my shopping trip I suddenly remembered that I had a lot of rice krispies left over from my meatloaf last week, so I bought some marshmallows to make rice krispie treats!
And after last night, I have so much respect for moms who make this all the time! This was crazy hard! So unbelievably frustrating! And never again will I make them lol!
It started out good, mixing the butter and marshmallows. But then adding the rice krispies....uh what the hell!!
I finished mixing the krispies in, but getting it out of pot, and them cutting it into squares...they just would not come apart! It looked like a crazy amount of spider webs flying everywhere. So, not worth the trouble, and I just wanted them in my mouth, I made them into balls. Threw them in the freezer, and ate them 5 min later.
